Privacy on this site
This page explains what personal data is processed when you use nordic-weddings.com and get in touch with me, and the rights you have. The short version: the form arrives as a plain email to me, and the site does not track you.
Who is responsible
I, Christopher Fey, run Nordic Weddings Films from Oslo and am the data controller for the processing described here. If you have questions about any of it, email me atinfo@nordic-weddings.com.
The contact form
When you use the contact form, you enter your name, email address, wedding date, venue and, if you like, a message. The form is sent as a single email straight to my inbox at info@nordic-weddings.com, from the web host the site runs on. No third-party form service is involved, and nothing is stored in any database on the site.
I use the details only to answer your inquiry: to check whether your date is free and to send you an offer if you want one. The legal basis is that these are steps you ask for yourselves before a possible contract (GDPR article 6(1)(b)). General questions I answer based on a legitimate interest in being able to reply when someone gets in touch (article 6(1)(f)).
How long I keep the data
Inquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted no later than six months after they have been answered. If we do work together, I keep contract and accounting records for as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires, normally five years after the end of the accounting year.
No cookies or tracking
The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or marketing tools. That is why there is no consent banner here, none is needed when nothing is stored on your device. Fonts and video clips are served from my own web host, not from third parties.
The Vimeo player on the films page
The exception is the films page, where full films are shown in Vimeo's video player. When you play a film there, your IP address and technical details from your browser are sent to Vimeo, and Vimeo may store cookies on your device. How Vimeo handles this is described inVimeo's own privacy policy.
Sharing with others
I never sell your data and do not use it for marketing. The only parties that handle it technically are my web host and email provider (united-domains), who run the server the form is sent from and the inbox the email sits in.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your own data, to restrict or object to the processing, and to data portability. Email me atinfo@nordic-weddings.comand I will sort it out. If you believe I am processing data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority,Datatilsynet.
Changes
If I change how the site handles data, I update this page at the same time. Last updated: 12 July 2026.
